Mr. Toad's Wyld Ride

You know, that ride at Disneyland, or something like that.  Isn't it all a dream? 

When I eat rich foods before bed, which could be a few hours or more than a few hours before, I have the most bizarre dreams.  Of course, when I'm stressed (and I'm usually stressed), I have the weirdest dreams.  And then, I usually just dream very vividly.

Last night I had a late dinner, of incredibly rich foods in larger portions than I have been eating recently, and had a medium stressful work day. 

My dreams were off the charts!

I don't even know where to start, the Armageddon-like LA riots?  Walking Mom through a bombed out area?  Calling Pkin at the firing range?  The airport adventure with scores of former and present co-workers?

Let's start with Armageddon:  Mom, Boo and I are driving north on the Golden State Freeway, in an area we are very familiar with, but the road is like the mirror image, like we're driving on the left-side, like in England (but that's not important).  Cars around us are driving towards us because the cops are making them turn around to avoid the riots.  We don't know where the riots are but we aren't able to turn around, Mom is driving backwards, and we can't get Pkin on the cell phone but the phone is working.  This goes on for a long time, it's scary not knowing how I'm going to get home or what areas we need to avoid and then having to figure out where to go.  I suppose I move into the next dream, of Mom in a bombed out area.  She falls face forward into rubble when she jumps down from a cracked ledge.  It's behind a carnival, or along the edge.  There is a more rural setting on one side, the side we are heading to.  As she falls, it's almost in slow motion and she hits her face but gets up relatively easily.  I could go on but it won't make sense.

I did enjoy a great medium steak and luscious potatoes, mushrooms, corn and even the creamed spinach was good.  Oh, a piece of See's candy too!  I'm sure it was the free See's sample that put me over the edge.

i gould use dreams like that. it's betty than gloing into bed, turning over to the side of comfort, coviering up warmly, and then waking up with nothing inbetween!
