I do have pictures, and they're safely on a finger drive about 16 miles from where I am right now. Some day you may be able to see them all.
Did you know that it rained almost if not every day we were there? So I shouldn't be at all surprised that it's doing virtually the same thing here, right? It's wintertime after all. Actually, I'm quite happily surprised by all the rain. I love rain. I remember one day, probably in 4th or 5th grade, walking home from school with my umbrella wearing my burgundy tweed-like wool coat. It was nice.
Yesterday evening Pkin and I had, just had, to go to Lowe's. And since he's such a "real man" he doesn't use an umbrella but since I'm a dainty woman, I got dropped off under the contractor's awning, in the damp but not wet. The streets were almost empty, but there were lots of people at Olive Garden -- now that surprised me. What are sane people doing out during the worst thunder and rain storms in memory? We had a reason to be out - Pkin needed a new grinder for work, but everyone else should have been home safe and dry!
Anyway, I'm missing the humid rain a bit and getting up late, and the no-diet Hawaii!
