Someone I admire, respect and love (in a work kind of way that may evolve) deeply dislikes someone else. I find myself unable to find any redeeming qualities in this said third person, let's call her "Sally." Let's call my friend "Mary" just to make it easier.
Mary has to interact with Sally much more than I do, so she has many opportunities to observe Sally's behaviors. I think I'm a large enough person develop my own opinions of people but I'm unsure how much I'm influenced by Mary and, then, should I just accept it. I don't like Sally. Sally is condescending, harsh and will step on your face with her stilettos if she has the chance. Or will she?
We all accept the opinions of people we admire. Often that admiration turns into respect which explains why a singer can become a political advocate and people follow. Sure the singer has talent, but what in that talent makes him or her an expert in politics? Nothing other than a platform and an audience.
So I don't respect Sally and don't admire her, and will keep an eye out for that stiletto.
who's stiletto, mary's or sally's?
