I'm already feeling like it's December. Well that may not be exactly true, because I am looking forward to the best, OK second best day of the year, THANKSGIVING! (First best is my birthday!)
Where did this year go? As I'm thinking about how quickly the year has progressed I'm also dealing with the overwhelming feeling that this week is plodding by like molasses on a frozen slope. Oh, it's moving, but at a glacial pace. It's only Tuesday!
How can that be!?! How can I feel like today will never end and also feel like yesterday was January 1? It doesn't make sense but it's what I'm feeling. Is this yet another sign of my age?
Time flies when you age and when you age time becomes even more important - there is so much less of it!
An other thing that time impacts is hair, we all know that you have more of it where you don't want it and less where you do. Your eyebrows grow wildly upward but still are more sparse on the downward side. Your eyelashes can disappear. Recently I read advice to women over 40 to give up thickening mascara so as avoid looking like Tammy Faye and focus on lengthening formulas. As I was dressing I noted that my formula is lengthening. Phew! Finally got something right! Oh, and you shouldn't wax your brows past 40. You can kill the hair follicles that you may need when others die on their own accord.
Oh, oh, oh, Pkin is having a birthday soon as I mentioned. I think he's feeling his age too. There is a super hot picture of a young man on Facebook. He's striking a Jim Morrison-like shirtless pose, with shaggy longer hair, arms above his head. This young man is Pkin, a lifetime ago but Pkin nonetheless. He looks at it and remembers. I hear that young women are quite excited by the pic. That's what Pkin says anyway.
where is this alleged pix? i haven't seen it. lead me to it!
