I haven't been blogging!
I ordered a bathing suit for Mom. She got it today, apparently the bottom is a little revealing. I'll have to check it out. For romping around the backyard, I think she'll be OK but let's take a look.
I've been using eyelash growth serum. It makes my eyes irritated, not too bad but I'm considering stopping. It works well for Mom, so maybe I'll give it another chance. I've used it for just over a week and last night I rested my eyes. We'll see how that works out.
I went with Pkin and his friends to the Ventura County Fair. We went by Amtrak, and there was a train death that delayed our return by about an hour. I also got a sunburn on my chest, it's like a farmers v-neck and because I had a large shoulder bag pulling my blouse it's left of center. Since I had a hat, my face didn't get burned and my arms were already tanned, and I had sunscreen, it was only my chest. It's still red, nearly four day later. Oh, if you ever run into Pkin ask him about Eli and Colby?
I've been nearly despondent over my "as seen on TV" purchase. Have you seen the little plastic discs that make all bras into t-backs to perk up your bosom and hide the straps? "All" is a very subjective word. I felt like I was in a straight-jacket and the straps were visible above the neckline on the back. Now I need to take them back to Walgreen's for my money back. At least I don't have to pay shipping and handling!
I've also been missing my blogging friends who enjoyed the Sock Summit. If I ever learn to knit, just maybe I'll go one year.
You don't have to knit to enjoy what was going on at Sock Summit. There were so many interesting women there. Professional women who were just so accomplished. Barbara Walker who was one of our teachers (and uber guest of honor) has also written some of the most interesting feminist books. I taught 4 classes and I had at least 1 chemist (two in one) CPA, and mathematician in every class. Fascinating people. You should come next time!
Maybe you'll take up spinning instead of knitting? ;-)
And I can't believe you need the eyelash growth serum! You have the most amazing eyes and eyelashes!
