It's not what you think. I doubt we'll be at bars, or wearing tramp clothes, but Mom does want a tattoo across her lower back. She noticed one on an otherwise meek looking young woman. My sister and I told her that you call a tattoo in that location a "tramp stamp." This was very fun to her. She's going to get a rub off one first, and I hope she doesn't get a real one. Maybe Pkin will chime in. He has strong tattoo opinions.
Anyway, my sister, Mom and I are going to Vegas for my sister's birthday. I'm letting them know that I'm going via blog. "I'm going!"
I want to get some sun on my legs, see a show, and play video poker.
I'm not telling you when ... you'll just have to be surprised.
Mom, that area is actually kind of sensitive so getting a tattoo there hurts!
There are so many more fun things to get with that money.

for laurie...are you speaking from experience or hearsay?

No Mom, it is not from personal experience. I have two very good friends who both got tattoos there. Neither one of them are particularly sensitive to pain. And one of them is very much a "walk it off" kind of person who never likes to admit pain.
Both said it hurt really bad. They both also have tatoos in another spot. One on an ankle and one on the back of the shoulder. The ankle hurt when it got around the bone, the shoulder didn't hurt much at all.
I still say there are more fun things to do with the money! :-)
