Pkin and I are heading to the open road. Apparently Rosey wanted some freedom of her own as well. She's staying with Gramma over the weekend and last night she jumped the fence and scared the behind-the-house neighbors. Gramma had to drive around the block and pick her up at 3 AM. Gramma sounded tired this morning. Apparently Steve was barking and barking about Rosey but it took the babysitters a while to figure out the code.
While Rosey is cooling her heels, Pkin is taking me to the wilderness. You should have seen the look on his face when I asked, "When are we stopping for lunch?" I don't think we will be. I have crackers and water near me; and I don't think I'll share with him.
Stay tuned for more exciting adventures, probably from Rosey, Steve and Gramma.
clarification: It was 3 when the barking started in earnest. It was 6 when we were informed of her escape and Gramma had to go get her. If I didn't have to go to work, I would have gone but luckily mom didn't have work, only a dentist appointment.
