It's the bane of my existing but also provides some time to think very interesting thoughts, and to see Guys and Dolls with Marlon Brando singing "Luck Be a Lady." He was a cutie; weren't we all at some time.
Personally I enjoy Nicely-Nicely the most. Jean Simmons annoys me, but Vivian Blaine is great. Do people still talk like Katherine Hepburn if their not from England?
Yes, it is very early and I'm tired and sick with a cold, maybe 'cause I'm getting a name and "the name isn't his." Not really but you seldom get to use a line like that in normal life.
My Uncle Jimmy once commented that life would be so nice if people just broke into song like in musicals. You're walking down the street and suddenly belt out something somewhat apropos but very corny. I would not exist in this world; I can't sing and Pkin even traded work for lessons; they were not good. But it would be interesting. Pkin would be good as singing; the dancing that would have to come would be a bit more challenging. Think James Cagney in Yankee Doodle Dandy. No, I'm not gay. I only play one on my blog.
Before Pkin know better; he imaged that Mother, Sister and I walked about the house singing show tunes all day long. Now he knows it's true.
If you stay up too long you end up watching Christina Applegate, no offense, but it's no Broadway musical.
Don't knock James Cagney in Yankee Doodle Dandy. Mr. Cagney started professional life as a Vaudville Song and Dance Man.
As for showtunes
THEY ROCK!!!!
