I love my mom. I know, most people say that, but I really, really do. She's crazy as a loon and growing more so every day and it's just part of life. Next year she's facing a milestone birthday but a few days ago, as she and I were speaking, while I was working late one evening, she commented, I wish I were dead so I could leave you my money now.
This is both an incredibly caring and amazing bizarre thing to say, and that's my mom.
I'd rather have her now and yes, if the markets survive, it will be a consolation to have the money. These are kind of things my mother comes up with. At least our conversations are not boring.
