Brown Shoes
Are all brown shoes blah? I have a pair of slip-on, sandals, backless and they are brown. I wear them with my blue print sundress and tan pants if I'm not wearing a black top. And that is it. When I wear brown shoes I feel like my feet are "on display," which makes no sense.
I'm concerned about this because as I face tootsie surgery I'm wondering what shoes will I be able to wear during recovery and beyond. For the past month or so I've been wearing a lot of my old lady Rockport, kind of pricey sandals. In black. Should I get a pair in brown? Should I get another pair in black? What if they run out? Zappos will have them, but for $80, DSW is less.
OMG! Too much to worry about. It's just too, too much.
And I didn't even tell you about the shoes soaked in kerosene. I'm going to burst into flames.
I don't know what I would do without my brown borns. And they are way cute. Not at all blah. I rarely wear black shoes because I'm in jeans so often. And I like the brown shoes with jeans.
I think you should just focus on wearing what will be comfortable on your feet. A really good shoe like a Rockport or a Born.
