A rant is a tirade of complaints but when you rave about something that is a positive, as in, It got rave reviews. But why is it that when you get your panties in a bunch you rant & rave?
I like to rant - it's easy to find things to complain about. But just the other day I wrote a comment to Starbucks about the good service I received. My cup was full and my scone was fresh and in-stock. It was a very good Starbucks day; a lot better than the days with more foam than coffee and only blueberry scones. I was trying to build positive karma. I've been wondering since I pressed send if I would get a response back. Will I get a free cup of coffee for saying nice things like when I do when I say not nice things about service?
Am I ranting about a rave?
