I've been looking forward to this weekend since last Saturday morning at 6:00 AM. The plans called for sleeping late. I was out of bed by 7 and doing laundry. But it was my time-table, maybe that is the key difference.
For my slow weekend I've cooked and/or prepared all the food we've eaten. For breakfast, Pkin and I had pancakes and bacon. The cakes were Krusteaz, but it's the 21st century after all and I'm not Martha Stewart. For lunch, we had turkey and swiss sandwiches on French bread with an assortment of veggies. There was watermelon for snack. Dinner was modified chicken quesadillas. rice, beans and more mixed, fresh veggies. Now I want cookies. It's still very warm but I am considering home-made oatmeal cookies. What is A/C for anyway!?!
I've had a number of random thoughts that I thought, at the time, were blog-worthy. Nothing is coming to mind now. Pkn is fixing my PC, not so much a random thought, but a sharing. Let's wish him and me luck! My PC has been freezing every other transaction.
The kitties and Rosey went to see Dr. Weule. Rosey, part Rhodesian, has a heat rash. I guess it's the part that is not from the sub-Saharan region. Buster has kitty acne, I guess nurture is stronger than nature, both he and I are using benzyl peroxide. Maybe his birth mother had the same problem, we'll never know.
There is a new baby in the Yarn Harlot's world. I found a new blog about transit, lay offs and chemo. John, I'm sending you and yours good mojo.
I guess it's not that slow after all.
