Another Rant

I just found out that I need a wired connection to the Internet to work at home if I want to access shared drive files.  I really don't want to access these files, not in the scheme of things, but you know, work pays all the bills.

I hate the bills but I love the things that made the bills, like the house and the car, and the cable and the good doctors.  This is just going to be a long week with lots of work and Friday is the big eye day.  Yikes!  I need some Valium.

The Eyes Have It

If this were the $10,000 Pyramid, you'd have to name seven things that have eyes.  And the list would include, "your aunt sally" and "a potato."  I loved the Pyramid.

Well, my eyes are going to get lasered.  I am getting photorefractive keratectomy (PRK for short.)  I decided that I would look more silly with braces AND glasses.  If this works out then next year is the braces year. 

I was thinking about all this cosmetic self improvement and know that I would do better in the long run by adding value to our house or to my core inner self.  But it's so hard to paint the living room or change out all the windows, relative to getting your eyeballs burned off that is.  And don't get me started on exercise and healthy diet. 

For the home we buy furniture --- eek!  We should really paint the darn thing. 

But as they say, Rome was not built in a day.  So each and every day we do something for improvement and enhancement and try not to forget about the maintenance.

Purple

I like purple, but shade is amethyst.  Being a Winter I look best in the jewel tones.  Don't the Red Hat ladies add purple to their ensembles?
