The virtue that encompasses forgiveness is "forbearance," see Wikipedia. I shouldn't watch ER and then open my spammy-type mail. The quote came from such a spammy-type email. And ER, as you may know, comes from NBC and Michael Crichton. You then get odd statements that are related to nothing really.
My personal worst virtue is diligence -- though I'm not high on any one of them. There is always the great new year resolution to put myself right on track.
