The Christmas Buddha

Pkin found out that our Buddha is Hotei, God of Contentment and Happiness, also known in the West as the Fat Buddha or the Laughing Buddha.  Both are very appropriate titles for anything inhabiting our home. 

Hotei carries a large cloth bag, which is what Ho Tei literally means, over this shoudler.  The bag is filled with food for the needy and poor and it never goes empty which sounds very much like a bag that Santa would carry.
