I love love shoes. It all started because of the pink bunny shoes. And my pink thing must trace it's origin there too. I had (Mom still has) the most adorable newborn bunny shoes ever. They have little bunny ears and they are pink. What more is needed!?!
I have spent more on shoes than is right and moral, but I'm not a Jimmy Chu or Manolo Blahnik crazy person. I simply do not earn enough. But still, I like shoes.
This morning Pumpkin (also known as Craig or Hubby) suggested that I would have a better perspective on my day if I chose a more comfortable pair of shoes. Since P-kin's new Canon fancy digital camera has not left his right hand since it arrived, I can't show you my outfit today. Let me describe that I am had to toe red. Starting with my rosy, red complexion, my top is covered in a hot red silk twin set. It's a fine knit tank covered by a three-quarter sleeve cardigan that has only a hook closure at the neck. My skirt is a A-line silk shantung, eight panel creation that skims my knees. It's woven red with white. And yes, I know exactly why I do not write for Vogue or W.
Now image that outfit with orthopedic shoes?
Yuck!
My shoes are two-inch, kitten-heeled pointy, red suede mules. Now, what better attitude could I have when I look so terribly color-coordinated?
Sometimes the uncomfortable shoes are so cute and perfectly coordinated that you smile even through the pain!
The outfit sounds adorable. I think you look terrific in red!

Actually, I forgot to mention, that although I am not a shoe person and I hate shoe shopping. I did get a pair of Manolos for Christmas and I heart them!
